There is definitely something Vintage in this GMT.
As for your love for the GMT, I can understand that easily: I have the same disease, and if I didn't convince myself to refrain, I would end with maybe 15 different Rolex GMTs?
The nippple dial is indeed special, and I agree with you that it gives a Vintage appearance on this 16753, as well as the gilt writings.
The case looks in good shape, too.
