Why would somebody leave a watch at the AD?
Why would an AD keep the watch longer then necessary, have the risk to lose, scratch or drop it? It must be a somekind of marketing trick.
I talked to an AD I know.
He has customers that buy many watches ( think hundreds of thousands annually). They travel constantly so he will say “ your watch is here when you want it” and it might be 3 months before they stop by. He doesn’t display them though. He will however say ...
That makes more sense
At least you get your hands on the watches and enjoy them for a brief moment.
