I have been hankering after one of these for quite a while. I actually tried one on in December only to find it was just way too big for my wrist. Still, some watches are not meant to be. Congratulations on the watch though. It really is a very special watch. Surely has to be one of the deepest production watches available.

I just cannot get over the...
"Ring Lock System" and "Original Gas Escape Valve"...they just ruin the watch for me...
The DSSD certainly has its lovers & haters...
but for me, i love it. Rolex put in alot of research into this watch & i think the end result is great. The writing on the inner ring isn't that bad in real life. IMO its the macro pics that excacerbate it. One really needs to try it on to make a decision...

....only ever seen one in the flesh. And yes, the writing isn't that in-your-face. But it's still there....along with the depth rating...I just feel that Rolex joined the extreme depth pissing-match. but were I a Sat diver...I think I'd still be drawn to ...
