Question for the pros

Quick question, I was having a discussion with a buddy of mine that has a modern Rolex. He found a blemish on the dial of his watch and Rolex was more than happy to replace the dial for him. He was worried that the Dial replacement would retract from the value of his watch but I told him that it would not because it’s not the same as replacing a case. Am I correct?

Stay safe and healthy!

It shouldn’t, if it is a modern Rolex. The sams is not true for vintage Rolex.

Why walk around with a blemished dial if it can be replaced in a timely fashion? However, I wouldn’t send anything to Rolex HQ during these testing times.

No problem on a modern watch...

Ask Rolex to fix it.
