Fantastic post and FANTASTIC collection. Maybe the best collection I have ever seen. well Done.
I have a pretty unique and outstanding collection of vintage Rolex's from 1929. Including the 'rarest of the rare' a mint Rolex Didactic from 1933.
But NO prince yet.
Your comment that it was called a '"doctors' watch due to the seconds hand, I think was 'just' a story. The term 'doctors' watch came from the fact it was 'special (costly) and the sort of gift a wealthy person would give to a 'Doctor' in thank ful appreciation.
I would say a pulseometer watch would do as you imply.
Thanks your GREAT post
Adam
