Rolex

Not a subtle watch, and I didn't wear it much outside the house after getting it 18 months ago. But then I realized that most people never notice the watch you are wearing - so I wear it when the mood strikes. Like right now, for instance First a close up...  

For some reason that always makes me think of Glengarry Glen Ross If I were putting a leather strap on it I would go for something smooth rather then alligator/croc. Maybe a dark brown or so, like what I use on the La Tradition but thicker for the Rolex a...  

I'd skip using a strap. While the bezel is textured, its that bracelet that really distinguishes that watch from other Day-Dates. Enjoy its a beauty. Best regards, Dino

Even wore it out to dinner last night. And I wear it work occasionally - but that sort of doesn't count as "in public" since I'm in an office with one business partner (and he wears a TT datejust). So I agree, Kevin, that most people don't give a second g...
