New watch from Tudor : Black Bay 41 "monochrome".
I was always a great fan of the Black Bay and I also had a few years ago the GMT version of the previous model.
Unfortunately the chunkyness of the case did not really work for me and therefore I let it go.
But this year Tudor came out with this:

The new revised Black Bay 41 with it's monochromatic black/white looks and the much improved case proportions.
And trust me, these new case proportions make for a world of difference regarding the look and wearing comfort !!
The much reduced thickness and lug to lug make this now a great fit for my 17 cm wrist.

And there is more : the new "Jubilée" bracelet does not only look good but is also more comfortable than the old bracelet and additionally fitted with a well designed micro-adjustment.
Compared to their other "Oyster" style bracelet I find this to better match the vintage style of the watch and also adds a bit of welcome sparkling

.

And then there is also the Master Chronometer certification which I consider to be a great plus.

Here a wristshot on my 17 cm wrist : definitely much better than the previous models.
In fact, this watch reminds me a lot of the 5-digit Rolex Sub ....with however much better overall quality !!
At least for me, this watch redefines the famous value for money ratio : in my collection nothing gets close.
Thanks for looking,
Gerard
