My wife wanted to see her watch through a macro lens,
so I took a few photos of her 31mm Datejust, Ref. 178344 with mother of pearl dial.
I did not even notice the date window frame until I took this shot. A nice little feature. Please ignore all the scratches, just as my wife does. She even prohibits me from sending the watch to the RSC for polishing.
My wife is glad that she now has a new way of appreciating her watch.

Indeed, this is an excellent way to discover or re discover a watch. To tell all, before buying a watch, I alwys take it in pictures, and examine them carefully. Best, Nicolas

Thank you for sharing. My wife owns a 31mm Datejust as well although not as nicely decorated with diamonds as yours. Unfortunately we had to send it recently for warranty service (extremely unusual for our Rolex watches) and my wife can't wait to get it b...

We certainly hope so, it was a minor problem, never the less it needed attention. Better to do it under the warranty now than later to pay for it.

BTW, I'm by no means a macro shot master. The trick is easy: only share the better photos and delete the bad ones. Haha!
