In this day and age, if something looks suspicious, it probably is.
I have a 16710, which is basically the same watch, with a slightly different bezel insert and a jubilee bracelet. From what I can tell, the 16750 should have an Oyster bracelet, but the picture you posted shows that a jubilee bracelet is attached. I'd definitely get a second opinion, but that in and of itself is strange to me.
Frankly, I don't think I have ever seen a Rolex with just the word "Swiss" at six o'clock. It should really say "Swiss Made", but there is a chance the dial was also changed on this watch. In other words: Buyer Beware.

It is easy to check if it is a 16 750. Remove the bracelet, and look
At what is written between the lugs, at 12 o clock. The correct ref 16 750 should be engraved. Now, as for the dial, two possibilities: 1/ Service dial ( but I never saw a service dial on a 16 750 ). 2/ 16 700 Dial, which, as you said, was smetimes bearin...
