My first experience with Da Dweller.

Finally got a chance to try on the Dweller.I asked to be put on the list within hours of it being announced.

My local AD finally got them in stock, so I was able to try it on today. It's a nice looking watch. I liked it but did not love it. Certaily not more than my 18k Oysterquartz at a fraction of the price. I know I could have the Dweller within a reasonable time, but I asked my sales rep of 24 years to take it off my wish list.

That being said, if they ever make it in thr ROLX Green, I'd be allower it in a hot minute..

Couple of observations: 36mm Dweller version looks and wears much smaller than my 36mm Oysterquartz. The Dweller bezel appeared to be thicker, the dial appeared to be smaller and it was almost 3mm shorter tip-to-tip (top to bottom) of the case.

40mm was for sure the better size for my 6.75" wrist. Surprisingly, tip-to-tip height of the case looked barely 1mm longer vs tip-to-tip of my 36mm Oysterquartz. One would expect that the 40mm Dweller would look and feel considerably larger than my 36mm a Oysterquartz. It was NOT the case.

The difference between 36mm Dat3just and 40mm Submariner is "significant". The difference between my 36mm Oysterquartz and 40mm Dweller was there but not as noticeable at all.

My ultimate conclusion: - 36mm Oysterquartz wears much larger than your average 36mm watch. - Much bigger than 36mm Dweller and only a bit smaller vs 40mm Dweller. - Considering my 6.75" wrist size, 11-12k 18k Gold Oysterquartz is a much better option (to me) vs the stainless Dweller (even if I could get it at MSRP).
