How would you compare this to the “Monte Carlo” chrono released many years ago? I have not seen this in real life yet, but it looks symmetrical and balanced.

There are two main differences IMO: one is the case design, this one wears flatter and is also slightly thinner, so it doesn't feel as bulky as the MC. The other is the movement. This one uses the Breitling B01 with certain improvements and is integrated ...

This is not the only watch to have this issue, the jumping minute hand when you set the watch. I noticed that phenomenon on some others, from other brands, too. That's a bit irritating, I agree.

It looks "rubberized" instead of all rubber... AP used to make those for the Offshores, but over time they would wear a bit quicker than others.

Thanks Michael. Trying a new strap which is super soft rubber with stitching. Hope it lasts.
