I thought the "yellowness" of the 14k and 18k is different? The 18k looks more "gold".

That's what I saw when comparing two 6917x sometime back. I have never tried comparing two 16013s.

or jewellers have some chemical products to test the "quality" of gold. Cheers Jeff
