I'm curious why these Rolex "history" book covers don't feature a historical Rolex.
I'm sure Rolex has a good reason but I wonder why these Rolex "history" books don't have a historical timepiece on the cover or at least a vintage Rolex juxtaposed with a contemporary Rolex; after all it's not the modern Rolex that made history but it's forerunners.
I am excited to see this announcement. I bought the first volume in the series — Submariner—and it is excellent. I will certainly order this one.

The GMT line makes the most sense as the next book. Thought they would do the GMT now but nice to see the Date-Just featured
Rolex has been doing an exhibition series around the GMT watches recently. They had something in HK a couple of months ago. So, I feel like a push from the brand to get the word out and doing a proper book just makes sense.
