I had the same feelings about the case and the hands...
but as they are all thick, it's a sort of "harmony" between them. For me the main deception is the folding clasp which has a too "sportive" touch for a clasy watch.
But believe me, when you wear this watch (I speak about the everose model), you are nicely surprised.
