Rolex

Hi, Berly

Usually the one´s that I have seen to appear to be more coveted are those from the first series dating back to 2003-2004.

If memory serves me well, these are F series, and have a couple of aesthetic differences toward the following generations.

First would be the wider O in the Rolex name, and the fact that the Swiss Made legend at the six o´clock stretches out to five markers compared to only three (or maybe four) in the following one´s. Also, the fat and flat top 4 at the 40 minute marker in the bezel. In regards to the remarks on the bezel, take my statement with a grain of salt, as I am not 100% sure which bezel type corresponds to which Mk.

Now, fast forward to the M series, and this is when the first engraved rehaut appeared. Some people like it, some do not, but again, it is also a difference to consider.

In the end, I do not think you should be overly concerned as to getting X o Y iteration. Mine is an M series and I enjoy it profoundly whenever I wear it.

Good luck in your search and please share some photos once you get it.

Best,

Alex
