I think your estimates are about correct. I took the decision that I wanted no exposure at all, so sold all my Radium watches. They varied from 0.3 up to 250. I think your guidelines are not unreasonable.

Regarding the lack of glow.... be aware that this may have nothing at all to do with the existing level of radiation as the glow comes from an agitant that reacts with the emission. Once the agitant degrades the radiation emission stops glowing.... it may still be very radioactive.

From my perspective, any reading is a worry. A reading over 5 is unhealthy for sure.
