Uhhh... no banks to rob around here!
By: mrds : September 19th, 2019-06:54
A modest 1675 would do for me, even though the 6542 would be the top GMT!

If I may ask

5508, circa 1958?

It's the 5508's predecessor: a 6536/1, production 1957-1960 if I'm correct.

Mine came without papers so I don't know it's birthday, sadly. Cheers, Daniel

It can be.
By: Mary Anny : September 19th, 2019-07:25
If it is still there, you may check the watch model number between the lugs at the top side. Nice watch again.

No serial or ref number visible due to wear.
By: mrds : September 19th, 2019-12:27
It‘ll need to go to Rolex sevice soon though, I bought it in 2013. Hopefully more info then.

It is not unexpected!
By: Mary Anny : September 20th, 2019-00:52
The surely will tell you the reference number from the case back (I would not open it myself, especially if you take it underwater). Enjoy it!

Can you see the serial number between the lugs? Open the case back too, you will see the quartal and the year engraved inside. [nt]

I like this small crown a lot.
By: mrds : September 19th, 2019-12:30
Feels perfect on the wrist. Compared to my 5513, it is just a more special variant of the Submariner.
