From a purely practical point of view ...

I would prefer the GMT for one reason: Withour reading glasses, I would be unable to read the second time zone on the Sky Dweller: It consists of a ring of numbers rotating, so I HAVE to recognize the number in order to know which time it is elsewhere. On the GMT, I have a hand, and even without reading the figures, the position of the hand alone is indication enough for interpretation.
Other than that, the Sky Dweller is more luxurious, less ubiquitous and has the more interesting complication. I love annual calendars.

Horologically speaking, the Skydweller, in terms of charm and wearability, the GMT MASTER.
As I previously wrote, the Skydweller was a big disappointment, I felt it too big for me. And I wanted to love it for what it is, a very special Rolex. Best, Nicolas
I'm a big fan of the sky-dweller ...
and have traveled with it many times. One "issue" is that unlike GMT movement, date doesn't flip backwards when hour hand jumps backwards. This sometimes causes problem when you are traveling west, around midnight. It is true that reading the numbers off ...

you all know I'm in love with the gmt however....
I think I fear the new pepsi is more "pink and violet" than red and blue, while the new skydweller (this I saw it live) is a wonderful piece in every detail.... so black "ordinary" gmt I'd prefer to the SD, SD vs Pepsi wins the SD... th's just my opinion ...
