.....you have a Rolex icon in the GMT. If you type Rolex GMT in the search button on the forum you will be able to find dozens or more of articles and reports about the GMT and how people enjoy this watch. There is something extremely special about owning a vintage Rolex.... the history of the GMT is also very special. There is even a report in the last few weeks about the Pan Am link and its influence on Rolex...just type in Pan Am on search.
I think you are starting on a potentially very exciting path....but first you need to have the watch on your wrist and figure out how special it is to you. Whether I ... or indeed anyone else.... likes it is really not the issue. You will be the one staring at it during the day....so you need to judge just how special it feels to you. Certainly, from my perspective, I can empathise if you get a huge thrill from it

Already I have tried it on my wrist and felt it had a charm…..a different kind of charm than any new rolex that i had acquire before The domed crystal,The patina and the old light stainless steel bracelet its very different. I am getting very much excited...
