I am waiting for mine 😀. I got into Rolex in 2012 with a DSSD followed by a number of vintage GMTM. And mostly recently a skydweller too.
Agreed, their 40 mm models are well proportioned and sit well on the wrist. Rolex really has a way with design and functionality.

A couple of thoughts after 10 days on the wrist.
I had the white and black dial predecessors of 116500LN but sold them together with my other Rolex’s when I dove into brands like AP and ultimately PP. I didn’t want to buy any Rolex’s anymore but made an exception for the stainless steel Sky-Dweller blue...

Your words resonate with me. Although there are one or two modern Rolex that I like, I feel that the vintage post-1970 stuff is what works for me. Having said that, this Daytona is very appealing. Wear in teh best of health, J

Not surprising, though, as this is a particularly attractive Daytona. And I agree that the dimensions are about perfect for a three register chronograph. Keep enjoying it.
Although i am not a huge Rolex fan i would see me wearing this Daytona 👌🏻😘
