Blue triplet
After declining the offer of my AD to buy the Sky-Dweller at the end of last year I have regretted my decision only a few hours later. But then the watch was gone, so I had to wait for the next blue version incoming. This week I have got my early Easter egg and really love it. A chunky watch indeed but lots of beauty on the dial and technical refinement.
Together with its blue sisters it’s making a lovely blue triplet 😄

What reservations did you have about the skydweller that had you decline it the first time?

My reservations were the 42 mm case and the chunky look of the Sky-Dweller. I am still not fully over these concerns but the beauty of the dial and the fantastic movement prevail.

It’s interesting to see how slightly different the blue on all 3 dials is if you look at the watches in real. The photo doesn’t really show.

The SD for me is something special in the line-up of Rolex models due to its complication. Normally I prefer Patek if it comes to complications but Rolex nailed it with the SD imho.
