A superb photo of a Rolex 1655 Rail Dial.
I found it on a dealer's web page, Watch my Watch, to name it. This is indeed a quite rare dial configuration, with the aligned wording, which was in production circa 1974 and 1975, as far as I know. Rail dials can also be seen with the Ref 1665 and 16550...
