i was with my rolex AD this afternoon when a call came in advising that the rainbow daytona is no more effective immediately. Im not 100% sure on the exact reason but i gather the watch was never intended to have a long life anyway but it was to do with s...  

but I've seen one in the flesh and its actually nicer than the photos betray, anyway i can't think any other rolexs than come to mind that have been ceased less than a year into production? best darma

It is simply stunning and captivating to look at. An excess for sure, but still, I couldn't but smile glancing at it. Hopefully those who acquired them will fashionably flaunt them :-). Cheers, Alex

I saw one last week too and it made me smile as well - it is a wonderfuly executed, fun piece. I don't understand the outrage Rolex's adorned with gems seem to attract from WIS. If your wife can wear a piece of beautiful jewelry which is also a magnificen...

With the recent trend of women wearing Daytonas, my theory is that this bejeweled piece was made for women as its target market. Very few men would wear something like this unless they were looking for unwanted attention, IMHO.
