Also, I would also agree about their marketing in past years but if we are talking within the past 5 or 6 years, I would have to disagree as Omega has gained a lot more traction than what you are describing.
Both Rolex and Omega produce + 800k watches per year and both sell out to their distributors, retailers, boutiques, etc...The only difference is that Rolex is independent and does not publish its revenues or has to answer to a board from a publicly traded company.
I am a fan of both brands but to say that Omega is only known for the Speedmaster is inaccurate and a bit dishonest given there size and presence. It could be said that Omega is the 2nd most successful watch brand, behind Rolex in volume and capital ๐คทโโ๏ธ
