Here it is, a well worn Rolex Deepsea Mk1 belonging to a famous oceanographer. He wears it when filming/photographing marine life. It is my first time handling this watch, and it is toolish and tough looking. Did not get to finish my interview with him to...

Last year it was binging on whiskeys. I recalled being very tipsy. This year it was just 2 small glasses of whisky and a glass of red wine. Had to drive home and there are many road blocks here this season.

At first I thought he was wearing the new titanium version. It was so well worn that the steel doesn’t shimmer anymore.

Could be a month. He is flying off to film some tropical marine area soon.

I left the case back sticker on it, will probably never come off as it is just a desk diver. Holes in my eardrums prevent me from diving. Looking forward to your full report!
