Not only would I open her up
I would double check on the crown guard shape, the band finishing and it really looks more like 304 from your pics. S/N will tell much, engravings between lugs will tell much and check the steel to see if it's 316 or not. Do the simple checks like this and you'll feel comfortable come trade time. Since it's newer, it should have papers.

This watch looks good in the pics. The hands seem the right length. I don't understand the question of 304 or 316 steel. This is not a vintage watch and should be made of 904L steel. Until you see the guts (mvt), it could be a clone.

when close to the watch with my camera it reduces the magnification, below is another shot from further away. By the way i decided to go ahead with the trade but I am still going to take Y'all advice and take it to a AD and open up the case. Much apprecia...

The SEL's are perfectly shaped The saphire is good, the magnification is the new rolex type The bezel is ceramic and correct The rolexrolexrolex engraving is correctly positioned If you buy and get that watch you'll be fine imho
