Beautiful watch!!
This is one of the things that I have so enjoyed about my interest in watches. As the decades pass, different watches mean different things to me. Leather strap-watches still appeal to me, but I must say that nothing I own ( or have ever owned) is a more “practical” watch than my Rolex Explorer.
I wear an old Patek Philippe ref. 1526 very often, but I do LOVE my Rolex Explorer! Metal bracelets have a lot of latitude.
Light years away from each other, but I love them both!

The older I get the more I appreciate Rolex and in particular their gold bracelet models
I hate dressing up for anything now and prefer athletic wear on the weekends. Thus, I rarely wear strap watches anymore. It’s nice to know that my tastes have honed a bit as the years tick. ...

I love gold watches too and I rarely get dressed up anymore either since I retired. I do still wear watches with straps, shorts and a tee shirt. I don’t follow any rules anymore either 😂.
