Hey Everyone,
Richard Mille uses a proprietary connector & screw system to attach / change the band on their watches. Just curious about your expectations for a new Gator band and your real world experience.
a OK, You're at the store purchasing a new Gator band for MSRP $ 850 What is your anticipated "Life Expectancy" for the new band? (not just ratty looking, actually not able to safely hold the watch on your wrist anymore)
b) Now, from your actual experience how often do you need to change your band do to it failing to be useful? (not just ratty looking, actually not able to safely hold the watch on your wrist anymore)

If you constantly get it wet, soak it in water while doing dishes, go swimming with it, then it will have a very short life expectancy. On the other hand, if you occasionally wear the watch, the strap should last you a lifetime IMO. You need to provide mo...

a/ my expectations regarding RM croc strap are not different from any other high-quality croc straps. Just because a croc is a croc and AFAIK Richard is not using any specially bio-engineered crocodiles for its straps ... yet ;-) Jokes aside, it all comes...

hi bro , i also got same issue for strap. with this kind of connector. but , mine was for RM 011. i heard is , RM not producing rubber strap . which means rubber strap coming from outsourcing . sorry , just guessing. Regards, Jeff
