Hello bendannie,
OK, so this is one of the new(er) titanium connectors.
Normally they are tough as nails, so it is not so typical that yours went wrong.
The older ones did give a lot of issues at one time (which is what I first thought about) as they had a tab made of composite
and were less sturdy. I had one old one like that which slowly gave way a while back, but the new ones have not given me
any trouble,
There are many hand made operations in the production of the RM straps and like any hand made article, even though made by a first class Swiss company,
things can go wrong. Hope a new one will give you better results!

a/ my expectations regarding RM croc strap are not different from any other high-quality croc straps. Just because a croc is a croc and AFAIK Richard is not using any specially bio-engineered crocodiles for its straps ... yet ;-) Jokes aside, it all comes...

hi bro , i also got same issue for strap. with this kind of connector. but , mine was for RM 011. i heard is , RM not producing rubber strap . which means rubber strap coming from outsourcing . sorry , just guessing. Regards, Jeff
