Clarification per your request...
Thanks for the responses. I'm asking you guys about your opinion on how long you expect a Gator strap to last you based on :
a) your expitations prior to purchase ...
And
b) your experience and your wearing habits on your Gator strap that you purchase and you wear the way you choose to wear it.
So does anyone have an RM with a alligator strap? How long did you expect it to last? How long did yours last?
If not how long would you expect one to last based on your wearing habits?
( If you plan on buying the Gator stap and go scuba diving in nitric acid, then great, how long does the strap last YOU.)
OR If you are a daily wearer, OR have 10 or 20 or however many watches and rotate, how long the RM Gator should last and actually does last?

my experience
a/ my expectations regarding RM croc strap are not different from any other high-quality croc straps. Just because a croc is a croc and AFAIK Richard is not using any specially bio-engineered crocodiles for its straps ... yet ;-) Jokes aside, it all comes...

hi bro , i also got same issue for strap. with this kind of connector. but , mine was for RM 011. i heard is , RM not producing rubber strap . which means rubber strap coming from outsourcing . sorry , just guessing. Regards, Jeff
