Which one?
Hi,
First of all, I would mention that the prices are not even close to similar, and this is something to think carefully about.
Second, they are 2 totally different animals…Comparing a split seconds chronograph to an hour/minute/seconds watch is like comparing a pickup truck to a station car….So orientating first about which horological functions interest you the most is also important here, as well as whether it concerns daily wear or occasional wear, etc. Either one is a beautiful decision.
Just my 2 cents,
Theodore
Used 004 or new 035?

With prices roughly equivalent, which would you go for? I really am sitting painfully on the horns of this dilemma, but till I get to see the 035 for real it's just too difficult to commit. No, I'm not asking anyone else to make my decisions, I just wonde...

...that's a difficult question, actually, both awesome pieces. I think I'd lean towards the 35, as I am a bit of a neophile when it comes to watches (...although I'm coming around to the idea of buying classics!). I have seen and tried on the RM035, and i...

No Question RM004 all the way...far better investment longterm, and a far more complex machine. Of course the 35 is looking nice, but not a patch in horological terms on the RM004:- Below is something previously posted, ...take it as you will, but it does...

As I said, I am just fascinated how others see the world. Of course I don't "need" a chrono, but it is a very special movement. In Titalyt or All Gray it's particularly stunning to look at too.

I do own a 004,I think i will be buying a 35 as my next RM, I love it, but absolutley no way is a 35 a choice over a 004. Its amazing to me how 'cheap' you seem to be able to pick an 004 up for. I would buy your 004 and then save up and look to get hold o...
