It does not make any sense to clean oxidized parts. For one thing, you can't clean them really, but can only buff off the top layer that is oxidized. But, if that is done, the fine tolerances of parts sizes will be upset. Plus, all the labor involved in b...

ANYTHING for defect parts(oxidice/tarnish)parts...the only cost i pay is servicing,polishing and new strap and its normal for my 4 years old watch. I hope RM will CHANGE the oxidice parts with new parts instead of clean it.

my reaction is that RM are responding appropriately to this issue. This type of high-end, highly complex watch is far more likely to develop such problems than a simple, conservatively designed and traditionally constructed timepiece. I think of my own fi...
