The Jamaican Sprinter Yohan Blake, partner of the Richard Mille brand, is crowned King of Stadium in Lausanne!

Richard Mille wishes to congratulate its new sports partner, sprinter Yohan Blake, for his magnificent performance on Thursday 23rd August in Lausanne, where he once again left his mark on the world of sport. The 22-year-old Jamaican, (current world champion over 100 metres and triple medal winner in London), became the third-fastest sprinter of all time, recording a 100 m time of 9.69 seconds, beating his

personal best by six hundredths of a second.

THE JAMAICAN SPRINTER YOHAN BLAKE, PARTNER OF THE RICHARD MILLE BRAND, IS CROWNED KING OF THE STADIUM IN LAUSANNE!

Like the brand's other sports partners, Yohan Blake, who already has an impressive list of achievements under his belt and is regarded as one of the world's fastest men, wears a Richard Mille watch during competitions. His tourbillon prototype features the colours of the Jamaican flag, with a green flange and crown, yellow minute-markers and a yellow Velcro® strap.

After motor racing, golf, polo and tennis, sprinting is providing Richard Mille with a new, larger-than-life laboratory. By placing a tourbillon watch on Yohan Blake's wrist during competitions – a first in the history of sprinting – the brand is able to test the resilience of this exceptional timepiece in extreme conditions, assessing its performance and comfort when faced with typical racing constraints.
