If I am not mistaken, the date mechanism on the RM030 is a "semi-intantaneous" one. It means that the date "jumps" on the display but the mechanism that changes the display is being armed over a long period of time (usually starting around 10pm).
I am not sure that the date jump can be adjusted EXACTLY at midnight with more precision than the 20 minutes offset you're experiencing. But it is an interesting question to be asked to someone having technical knowledge at RM factory.... you should probably have your AD check this for you before sending the watch in.

Should change between five-to midnight and five past midnight (same date change mechanism as RM10), having said that, it's not a major problem and I would hold on until you can get it to your AD, it's not a big job just a small hand adjustment.
