Just to share strap info for 05
I had my peeling satin strap replaced with a new rubber strap on my 05, my fourth strap, and I do hope this will last longer than all the 3 before 
a few quick shots from my phone. It is available in the boutique in case anybody is interested. I like it so far

Yippee about time too, a rubber strap for the 5..well more importantly I am led to believe the 5 straps will work with my RM002, and I have been after a rubber strap for that for ages, so will snag one of these...quite like the 'unvented' look actually, l...

and I'm pretty sure it will fit the 002 chris. I have a the vented strap on mine which is tad to big. I'll be buying one of these.
Vented rubber strap
I think 'vented' rubber strap for RM23 can fit into RM05 too because they have almost same size case. I saw a RM23 with 'vented' rubber strap on net once.I hope can get one(vented model) for my RM05 next month.

Tapered thickness, nice width, looks like a very secure feeling strap! It should definitely last longer too!
