The under-the-radar gang had their most recent meeting in . . .
. . . Orange County yesterday over lunch and libations at a watering hole selected by gang leader Mitch K. About a dozen So Cal watch nuts enjoyed a leisurely afternoon talkin' watches, and afterwards, those of us that didn't have evening engagements made...
First up is the Limelight Tonneau XXL with diamonds . . .

Emperadors with diamonds . . .

A pleasing square design . . .
. . . which, in my humble opinion, is amongst the most difficult to pull off successfully: This Altiplano encompasses a few design elements that defuses the usually high level of aesthetic tension a square design imparts; the wide case-to-dial proportions...
I believe wmclarenf1 has more than a passing interest in . . .
. . . this model, the openworked Altiplano . . . . . . and I can see why, as the engraved angular pattern and open view into the movement adds a touch of masculinity to the design....

Both the location and the design of the cut-out barrel remind me of the elements in the Chopard LUC Tourbillon Is there a similar piece with an automatic movement? A

...using the mirror to reflect the movement. I like this Piaget with eccentric sub-seconds quite a lot, although I still prefer the traditional Altiplano. Piaget offers some of the most subtly beautiful watches on the planet IMO. Cheers, Daos

I did not know they came with steel bracelets.....
I knew the Polo FortyFive watches come in precious Titanium with rubber/Ti deployant bracelets. But I did not know there was an option for steel as well........ We need more information on this....and Switzerland is on "annual leave"......aaarrghhh. Regar...

Update
As it turned out I happend to be in the area today and stopped in. The bracelet is in fact, a light grey colored rubber strap. Same as the black rubber but just a light grey but indeed rubber not steel.
