This is the info that I have Anthony.
"The bezel is made out of 18kt gold bombarded with ions of titanium oxide. This process improves resistance to wear and gives the dark anthracite color".
I have this description from Piaget but honestly have no clue of what it really means or whether the process is only applied at the surface or throughout the bezel.

This Polo is one of my favorites! The black ionized gold ontop of the pink gold looks amazing. You made a great choice when you decided to purchase this watch. The best of the Polo collection in my opinion! =)
