This is like so many watches these days, all derived from the AP RO.... that's really all there is to it, in my view. Shrug... it's perfectly nice in silver dial... but why get one when you can get an AP or a Nautilus or Overseas? Piaget loyalists will bu... 

As you've claimed everything stems from the Royal Oak, why even mention the other two? Or is it a case of double standards because of the brand names involved?

I was noting the already established variants... which yes, are also derivatives of AP. I was simply noting that they are the established derivatives, and that there's room for more, but that Piaget has not really done anything here except make another va... 

this watch appeals to me very much, especially the grey dial variant as you likewise point out. Are there similarities to be drawn with some of the offerings from rival manufactures? Sure, however I truly see no plagiarism in the watch which is indisputab... 

I fully agree with you that the design is probably too committee based and marketing driven and that the game changer marketing story around it somewhat far fetched for the watch. Still wish them success at some level, if that means other more \'original\...
