A tool watch with a delicate and refine heart. Warmth of the tobacco dial and PG case all jus adds up for me.
Makes for a very dressy tool (if there was such a thing)
IMO, OP made an excellent choice is placing this very refined mvt in a very classic case design, at a very managable 42mm no less !

I think both watches are a great value, and the IWC can be had for half the price of an Altiplano due to the steel case. it is also so much nicer to wind than the FA Jones movement in the Portuguese Hand Wound. Bill
