When I acquired the Traditionnelle’s and the Altiplano, I was assuming they were direct competitors.
I first acquired the Altiplano, as my creative thirst and my love for Piaget as a brand was too strong.
Then I acquired the boutique rose gold Traditionnelle, as its cream matt dial made it impossible to resist as a traditional, romantic watch.
Finally, I liked the rose gold version so much, that I acquired the platinum slate matt dial as its sophisticated yet still romantic sibling.
Now to how they feel.. the Altiplano and the Traditionnelle’s have a completely different winding feeling. The Piaget is the best feeling winding watch I have ever experienced. The feel, sound and precision is fascinating. Also the sound of the movement due to the lower frequency vs the VC’s is fantastic.
Having said that, the VC’s go for a bit longer in terms of power reserve although the single barrel.
In terms of accuracy, they are all unbelievably precise. /- 1s per day.
Finally, what I wear more. Here it is very easy. The platinum VC has gotten the most wrist time, as it can dress up or down thanks to its shape and colors. Then it is a tie between the Altiplano and the rose gold Traditionnelle. One when I am in a relaxed and good mood, the other when I am in a creative explosion and good feeling as well.
I hope this input helps my friend.
Happy to answer more questions.
Take good care,
