Thank You for a fantastic review, I remember seeing this watch for the first time in Dubai with Dr. TM, I think the difference between this gentleman's Upstream and the others is the Power Reserve complication and subsidiary seconds dial at 9 and 10. Sotheby's auctioned off a similar watch as well.
My question is that you mentioned in your post that the Chronograph versions of the upstream all used a Caliber 222P , was this a quartz hybrid caliber or an automatic? in my research all of the Chronograph Upstreams that I have come across have been quartz movements.

Salman, In 2001, it could be that Piaget did not have in-house automatic chronograph movement still in production. After the quartz era, they made ultra-thin time-date movements like 430P for themselves and other brands like Cartier. Also a few tourbillon...
