On 2 Aug, Piaget hosted a High Jewellery watch dinner at Au Jardin, set in the midst of lush greenery in one of Singapore’s most serene places – the Botanic Gardens. The guests were treated to a dinner by 1-Michelin star chef Sebastien Lepinoy from Restaurant Cepage, Hong Kong in his 3-day only Singapore route, where he showcased his exceptional culinary skills in French cuisine using the finest Japanese ingredients.
From the La Côte-aux-Fées workshop set up by Georges-Edouard Piaget 130 years ago to its current position as a leading international luxury brand, Piaget has commendably established a two-fold of expertise in the fields of high watch-making and high jewellery manufacture.
The High Jewellery timepieces showcased are attestation of Piaget’s paramount mastery in high watch-making from La Côte-aux-Fées and exquisite jewellery know-how from Plan-les-Ouates. Pieces like the Polo Tourbillon Relatif (G0A31148) captured much attention with its suspended flying tourbillon, Limelight tonneaux XL(G0A31055) incorporates the best of two worlds, encompassing self-winding Piaget movement, crafted by Piaget with its horological traditions and enhanced by 612 brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds that have been carefully selected by the Piaget Master Jewellers to ensure supreme quality. The ladies were mesmerized by the diamond timepieces that elude timeless elegance and extravagant femininity.
Apart from admiring the exceptional pieces and enjoying the epicurean dinner, they were serenaded by a local well-known jazz singer accompanied by a bassist and pianist. All in all, bringing their evening to an exceptional level.
