Theme-less in Roxas City

 

has kind of a nice ring to it... and I am compelled to comment on each photo...

#1 At the port:  as with the photo from the fish market, there are a lot of young boys hanging around... learning what will be required and wanting to be part of the action.  Lot's more here than meets the eye... bread crumbs...

#2 At a fishing village: I have seen these colors in some of your previous work.  Good timing with the young girl, before she arrived at the cloud reflection.  So while the boys (group) are watching the boats arrive, a different (solo / individual) story is unfolding here.  Might be a theme to follow...

#3 By the coast: totally different look and feel... of course b&w.  That dog is no fool to sit in the shade.  The composition, with the single boat also looking camera left and I like that bit of wall angled from the bottom right...  "simple" photo, with lots of nice details...

Colors... I guess things are bound to repeat themselves based on what attracts us. I'm noticing it myself! Another trip coming up in October. But without our friend with the nice quiver of glass. That 21Lux has been on mind of late. I hate it when that ha... 

since he's not going, he might not need his lenses ;-)

I hope to travel later this year was well, now that things have eased up... there is talk of Hokkaido, Snow country, Nagasaki, and the possibility of Hawaii... It would be good to break out of the city for an extended period. Casey
