Sơn Đoòng cave (Vietnamese: hang Sơn Đoòng), in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, Bố Trạch District, Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam, is one of the world's largest natural caves.
Located near the Laos–Vietnam border, Hang Sơn Đoòng has an internal, fast-flowing subterranean river and the largest cross-section of any cave, worldwide, as of 2009, believed to be twice that of the next largest passage. It is the largest known cave passage in the world by volume.
Its name, Hang Sơn Đoòng, is variously translated from Vietnamese as 'cave of the mountain river' or 'cave of mountains behind Đoòng [village]'.
As a solutional cave, it was formed in soluble limestone and is believed to be between 2 and 5 million years old. — above text from Wikipedia

Caves are a pretty unique photo opportunity.
Once you move past the twilight zone the only light is what you carry, Total control. I helped a guy once with a large underground chamber photo by moving to various locations and firing off a flash at each pre-determined point while the camera remained ...
I am a little claustrophobic in tight spaces ...

I just visited Jeita grotto in Lebanon and it was amazing but…
…I couldn’t take any photo as they confiscated all cameras and phones at the entrance. Such caves are always totally amazing 🤩 !

Wonderful experience
I had a trip here in 2021 during Covid 19. Was lucky enough to book a slot as many others had to cancel due to border closures. We had 4-5 days completely in the cave isolated from the outside world. Only 1 company has license to organize excursions this ...
