I downloaded the photo and viewed in full screen mode using IrfanView and it does come alive. The file you uploaded is small (380 x 253) and not sure why you had issues to load as the system has be very stable. I can try to sort it out if you like ; )
I haven't seen stars like that very often, particularly here in the city... lovely and nice that you jumped in with your photo...

There is some starry background loss with internet compression, but if you view it in dim or lights off the photo will come alive.
