For anyone interested I was passing the new under construction Alexander stadium today and took a couple of shots hopefully all is going well to be ready for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth games. Last pic is how the finished stadium should look courtesy...  

and the comparison with the weekly magazine drawing... Thanks for sharing the project at this stage, lots of interesting architectural details and it looks to be a beautiful addition to the city. Casey .
