Traveling stands on top of watches …

… as traveling broadens the personal horizon. So true.

My dear friend,
Great to see and read from you. Long time we met each other. March 2020, when all this travel disruptions came up. Tomorrow I also will have my first travel again, after not leaving China for 3 years! I fully understand your passion to travel, I myself love traveling so much. Having traveled a lot to Egypt and to Sinai, I can somehow feel the excitement traveling to this region. But your spots to travel - Iraq, Pakistan and now Yemen - well, this seems to be  much more an experience trip than all these smooth trips to ‘well established Mid East’ regions. And luckily, you had your Olympus with you to let us participate, let us feel and smell the experience in this region. Thanks so much for this. A more than welcome variety to the world of watches, we we all here love so much. Your photography is marvelous.
So, did your camera and lenses survive the storm’s salt water? Did your watch got any scratches 😉?
Looking forward to meeting you hopefully soon again,
Your Olympus Watch friend of good old world

Some may remember me, as it was only three years ago where I went to the south of Iraq. It was a blast and I haven't been anywhere since. The world stopped shortly after and travelling became quite difficult. Some 18 months later I was about to travel Pak...

Quite spectacular!

Both body and lens resisted every condition like a PRO (hehe). My watch was already beaten to death, so I didn't mind any more scratches. As you know me, they're made to be worn. Looking forward meeting you again, as well. Have a nice journey and be safe....

Truly inspiring pictorial....
