Not sure which is my favorite. Love Frank's photos but maybe the quote from Duane Michals.

"to bring insight into the subject" is a challenge, and it's obvious when it's missing. I had not known his work... the quote puts his photographs in context. Casey

I've never regretted selling a watch, but I do regret selling a black paint MP. The reports of film's death are greatly exaggerated ;-)

Robert Frank: "... read a line of a poem twice"... very well expressed. Kate Morton: the quote is somewhat reflective of the plot to "The House at Riverton" which was also published under the title "The Shifting Fog" John Green: hahaha... at the end of th...

"Turtles all the way down" is an expression of the problem of infinite regress. The first is so simple at first read and what I like about the second quote is the image of the split apart sky... Casey

Garry Winogrand (1928 – 1984) was a prolific street photographer who at the time of his death left about 2,500 rolls of undeveloped film, 6,500 rolls of developed but not proofed exposures, and about 3,000 rolls of un-worked contact sheets... in total abo... 

but I can't place the author... I guess for the most part people remember the image but not the photographer... case in point might be Horst Fass who received two Pulitzer Prizes (1965: Photography and 1972: Spot News Photography).
