Photography

I think I got the focus more this time... feel free to provide your feedback though... I'll appreciate them as always. thanks! ...  

On the second, I am distracted by details - the lettering on the pole, blemish on forehead, etc. Is this a personal project or part of a photography class? Thanks for sharing them, Cazalea

it's not a personal project nor a photography class. it's just me practising as much as i can to try and improve on my portraiture photography.

I like the light falling on the hair, the OOF areas, colour, and smile of the first photograph. The second had excellent background (fade to black) with a nice touch of OOF. The light is a touch harsh for this type of mood shot, but it's well positioned. ... 

the second photo was taken closer to noon time and thus, the light was harsh. i'm still experimenting and trying different settings.

I admit I would rather look at her pics than watches

I would put the second pic on the first step of the podium for the way you play with the light. Maybe too many leaves and branches are distracting in the first one imho even if it is also a very nice shot. For me the second one is really nice ; it would h... 

photo editing is still very new to me and it's definitely another thing on my "to learn" list
