Photography

...which is a big deal in Washington D.C., Tokyo and probably a few more places around the world. Not sure if these go in 'Photography' or 'Time Out' but here they are. I took these in 2015 about a month or so before we left Japan to return to California....  

...the tree are lit up and everyone walks around eating street food and drinking beer and pink champagne. The Japanese know how to throw a party : )

These were taken late afternoon / early evening. It was super busy. All I could find right now, there are many more on a hard disk somewhere !! ...  

...we went to the pottery sales they held there and the fantastic art museums...

here are some of mine taken in Fort Goryokaku, Hakodate, Hokkaido ...  

We visited Hokkaido in the summer but well after the cherries were blooming.
